ITALY / CRIME: Meredith Kercher murder: suspects to remain in prison

Two of the suspects in the killing of British student Meredith Kercher have been told they must stay in jail. Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito were in court in Perugia to appeal against the decision to keep them imprisoned as suspects. They could be held for up to a year before any charges are made.
