A car in the convoy carrying Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes to a pre-wedding dinner was involved in a minor crash with a another car on Thursday (November 16). The people-carrier was one of two cars in the convoy, and it's unclear exactly which one was carrying Tom, Katie and their baby Suri. The black vehicle with heavily tinted windows didn't stop after the crash, instead it drove straight on to the restaurant. The other car involved was a tiny silver Smartcar, which its owner, a Rome resident, was trying to park at the time. The crash didn't seem to faze the soon-to-be-married couple, who arrived along with a star-studded group to begin pre-wedding celebrations. A host of celebrities arrived in the Italian capital on Thursday morning including Jennifer Lopez and husband Mark Anthony, Jim Carrey, Brooke Shields and a range of directors and actors from the Hollywood A-list. The couple have been leaving their hotel in the evening ever since their arrival earlier in the week and have been chased around town by Italian paparazzi determined to grab their pictures. 130 guests joined Cruise at Nino's restaurant, one of his favourite eating venues. "It's almost a secret but for example we can tell you that there are some of the things he prefers when he comes here as he is a regular customer of ours," said Francesca Luti, the daughter of the restaurant owner. On the menu; a whole range of delights including gnocchi, a dish traditionally eaten by Italians on Thursday; ravioli with truffles and artichokes - all believed to be Tom's favourite dishes.
