ISRAEL / LEBANON: Day 31: Ceasefire anticipated as violence continues

Talk of an end to the fighting can't come soon enough for around a hundred thousand people trapped in south Lebanon, cut off from aid with enough food for only a few more days. The Litani River is now impossible to cross after Israel bombed its bridges and an airstrike in nearby Tebnine hit a Red Cross Ambulance. Channel 4 News Chief Correspondent Alex Thomson and his team followed one aid convoy which did manage to travel from the port city of Tyre.
