Is Cannabis too dangerous to remain class C?

Is Cannabis too dangerous to remain class C?

Consider this: The home secretary said she wanted to reverse Tony Blair's 2004 downgrading of the drug because of "uncertainty" over its impact on mental health. Even though reports find little or no, causal link between psychotic illness, including schizophrenia, and cannabis use and the Council chairman Sir Michael Rawlings saying that the strength of things like skunk hasn't really changed very much since the downgrade in 2004 Government advisers are to recommend that cannabis remains a class C drug, despite government concerns over its affects on crime levels and health. In a report, the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs will say cannabis is not harmful enough to be upgraded to the more serious class B.
