We will show them that sanctions against Iran do not work." Later, Iranian Former President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani spoke at the shrine. "The Americans will create a dispute between Shi'ites and Sunnis who are in the region and our country. Creating a dispute between different religious groups, especially between Shi'ites and Sunnis, is something that the Americans will try to do," Rafsanjani said.
