Interview: Joonas Pekkanen and Kai Lemmetty from Floobs - Mobile Video Streaming Service

Le Web 3 was an intensely concentrated experience. So many entrepreneurs gathered in one place - so little time to interview them all. Returning from Day 1of the conference, on the Paris Metro with Vincent from Intruders UK , we found ourselves in conversation with two Finnish entrepreneurs we had hoped to interview. What better place than here? No better time than now! Joonas Pekkanen and Kai Lemmetty founded Floobs , a mobile web streaming platform. It's the classic garage startup: self-funded and developed, with some support from family and friends. Le Web 3 was perfect timing for them, and they were among 30 companies who pitched on stage in the Startups hall on Day 1. Since then, Floobs have launched their public beta programme at Floobs.com . This offers the opportunity to stream live and to archive clips from a webcam. The mobile phone client they showed us in the video is scheduled for beta release soon.
