Also the Prosecutor is objecting to the releasing of Mustafa Balbay, the Ankara representative, of the secularist daily newspaper "Cumhuriyet". // The long awaited indictment is said to be almost ready. The prosecutors were criticized because they could not complete the indictment. However, as each a new development occurs the indictment is automatically extended. The indictment is said to be in the final stage of transferring to the National Judiciary Network. According to Turkish Anadolu Agency, the finishing touches are being put on the indictment. However, it is still not clear whether an additional indictment for the latest detentions will need to be prepared or if they will be included in the current indictment. The Supreme Court Attack of 2006 is reported to be one of the most outstanding chapters in the 2,500 page indictment. Meanwhile, Prosecutor Oz has been given round the clock protection as well as armoured vehicles because he received threatening calls recently. A team of 15 has been guarding the prosecutor's residence 24 hours a day.
