INDIA: Police corruption allegations in case of murdered slum children

Corrupt policemen in India have been accused of failing to investigate the disappearance of more than 40 children. The children were raped and murdered and it is thought their body parts were sold on the black market in human organs. The children all came from the poorest areas of India's cities, whereas the suspects were wealthy. Parents claim they reported their children missing years ago but nothing was done. The scandal has provoked angry demonstrations in Delhi .
