In the Halls of the Dax Companies – Adidas

They reflect how the organization sees itself: powerful or modest, transparent or insular. They're the foyers of large German companies. And the architecture also serves to compartmentalize the visitors: from those welcomed with open arms, to the less desirable. Our current Made in Germany series is taking a peek into the corridors of power at Dax-listed companies. Our reporters want to see the aesthetic statements businesses make with their entrance halls. In this program we'll pay a call on Adidas , the largest manufacturer of sports clothing in Europe. If the reception area at the company's headquarters in Herzogenaurach serves as the company's calling card, then Adidas means sports -- and visitors know it. Part of the floor is covered with a track, like in an arena. Oliver Brüggen, the press spokesperson for Adidas, shows Made in Germany-Reporter Michael Altenhenne his company's reception area.
