Humph is undoubtedly a UK National Treasure! In the 30s and 40s he was a jazz pioneer, and in the 50s he rather suprisingly became a hit recording artist. Since then he has continued to blow his own trumpet brilliantly - and has also proved to be one of the funniest men on Radio 4.
