Housemates pass 'Ole Bamboo' task on Big Brother
"Halfwit" and Cairon face being booted out of the Big Brother house later. Freddie, who changed his name to Halfwit to gain housemate status was nominated for the public vote for the second time by housemates. The 23-year-old received nine nominations - meaning all but two housemates voted for him to go. On hearing the results, most housemates seemed unsurprised to hear that Halfwit faced the boot - but Cairon's nomination sent some members reeling. Karly and Sree's jaws dropped to the ground, and Kris said: "It just goes to show, you never have a clue what people think of you." On Halfwit's nomination Lisa said: "I think he probably irritates people just as much as he irritates people on the inside." Dogface, whose real name is Sophie, added: "He's really eccentric when he talks and stuff. I don't understand what he says." Discussing her reasons for nominating 18-year-old Cairon, Noirin said: "He's so lazy. He doesn't do any cleaning in the house, he doesn't do any cooking in the house. All he does is sleep, maybe sometimes he gets up to have a smoke." Indian student Sree, who has clashed with Cairon several times in the house, also nominated him, blaming his bad language and immaturity.
