Preview for 1945's "House of Dracula." Universal was hitting the end of the road with their b/w monster epics, having trotted out "House of Frankenstein" just a year earlier. Here we find Lon Chaney Jr. again as Lawrence Talbot / the Wolf Man, while John Carradine and former cowboy actor Glenn Strange reprise their roles as Dracula and Frankenstein's monster from the previous year's "House of Frankenstein." More of the usual monsters-on-the-loose mayhem, and again we've got a cavalcade of monster stars for you. Not a bad film, and quite a lot of un as all the Universal films were, but it was clear the concept was wearing thin. The next stop for this bunch would be "Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein."
