The BBC has uncovered evidence of horrific overcrowding and degrading living conditions in Iraq's prison system. With several thousand people arrested during security operations in recent years and the judicial system unable to cope with the caseload, Iraq's jails are at bursting point. Some prisoners wait many months before they are even charged and others also claim to have been abused and tortured. The BBC's Andrew North, and cameraman Luke Winsbury, were allowed exclusive and unhindered access to an Iraqi-run prison.
