HEALTH: NICE recommends regular and more sensitive scans for young women with high risk of breast cancer

The Government's health watchdog says young women with a high risk of breast cancer should receive regular and more sensitive scans. Cancer charities have welcomed the new guidelines. The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) now recommends that women aged up to forty-nine with a family history of the disease, should have annual MRI scans.
