HEALTH: Life Matters: Breakthrough in treating colds in asthmatics

Hundreds of thousands of asthma sufferers could benefit from a breakthrough in understanding how the condition worsens when a patient has a cold. For many asthmatics, a normal inhaler will basically stop working when the sufferer catches a cold. British scientists have worked out why and now it's thought new inhalers could be developed that will be much more effective.
