HEALTH: Clostridium Difficile: Hospital infection cases unreported

It has emerged that cases of Clostridium difficile, or CDiff, are not being reported. The bacteria is prevalent in hospitals, causes serious illness and kills more people than MRSA. Almost 1 in 6 infections are not logged and it is thought the situation is worse than official figures suggest.
