HEALTH: Body shop founder Anita Roddick has hepatitis C

The Body Shop founder Anita Roddick has revealed she has hepatitis C. Dame Anita, who is 64, said she contracted the disease from a blood transfusion while giving birth to her youngest daughter in 1971. She says she has years, even decades still to live but is also suffering from cirrhosis of the liver, one of the effects of the disease. She has now become patron of the charity, the Hepatitis C Trust.
