Gunfire wounds child in Jewett City, CT
(NECN: Jewett City, Conn.) - Connecticut State Police are investigating the shooting of a young child. Police say a gun accidentally went off this morning in a home on Green Avenue in Jewett City. The two-year-old boy was taken to Backus Hospital in Norwich, where he is listed in extremely serious condition. State Police are trying to figure out exactly what happened.
