
(NECN: Shanksville, Pa.) - A groundbreaking ceremony was held today in Pennsylvania for a permanent memorial to victims of United Flight 93. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and relatives of the victims turned shovels of dirt at the Western Pennsylvania crash site. The 2,200 acre park will feature a chapel with 40 chimes symbolizing each of the victims at its entryway. The memorial is set to open on the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
