GREECE: Crete: Pregnant woman plunges from hotel balcony

A young mother is fighting for her life after her boyfriend allegedly pushed her from the second floor balcony of a Crete hotel during a row. Sarah Maskell from High Wycombe, who is believed to be pregnant, fell 21 feet in the early hours of yesterday morning. She is now being cared for at a hospital in the nearby city of Heraklion. Her partner, Michael Edwards, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder.
