Gov. Perry visits Fort Hood victims

(NECN: Temple, Texas) - Texas Governor Rick Perry visited wounded victims of the Fort Hood shooting on Saturday, saying that those soldiers said it was an honor to serve their country and are committed to returning to service. "We talked about these kids' families, we talked about if they needed anything," Gov. Perry said. "We comforted them and loved on them, and I think that's the appropriate role at this particular point in time."
