GOP Senators Endangering Jobs, State Finances, Public Safety

(Sacramento) This morning California Assembly Speaker Karen Bass (D-Los Angeles) and State Senate pro Tem Darrell Steinberg joined U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer for a news conference at the state capitol. In a meeting with the Assembly and Senate Democratic Caucuses Senator Boxer said some federal stimulus money is being put in jeopardy by the lack of a state budget. Senator Boxer joined Speaker Bass and pro Tem Steinbergs call for one more Republican Senator to put the state and its people above party politics and vote for the budget.
