Global downturn hits overseas Filipino workers - 02 Feb 09

The Philippines is expected to lose more than 10 per cent of the money sent home by its citizens overseas which helps keep the economy afloat. The global slowdown means less demand for the low-skilled jobs they often perform, as Al Jazeera's Marga Ortigas reports.
