The new-born Ocelot is the baby of mother "Estancia" and father "Domingo," and it has not yet been named. The Ocelot is thriving, and it is reported to already weigh two kilos. The animal caretaker, Thomas Kaindl, is very proud, "It naturally breast-feeds from its mother, but it is also already starting to eat meat." Ocelots belong to the most beautiful cats of the world and originate from south-western USA and Central and South America. Many Ocelot's have been lost to the fur trade, since they have such a distinctive, sought after coat.
