GERMANY: Barbra Streisand visits Jewish Museum in Berlin and celebrates wedding anniversary with husband in Berlin

On Saturday (June 30), the U.S. singer and actress played in Germany for the first time in her career spanning almost 40 years. German media have linked the Jewish star's refusal to sing here because of the country's past and its responsibility for the Holocaust. Other media praised Streisand's decision to appear, and, unlike in other countries on her tour of Europe, there has been barely a murmur over record ticket prices of up to 500 Euros.
