Georgy Bibilauri, an eight-year old from Tbilisi, Georgia, gathered a small crowd of fans in the old part of the city on Tuesday (November 23) in an attempt to break a Guinness world record for pushing vehicles in his age category. Georgy Bibilauri looks older than he really is. The reason is simple; he is bigger than most children his age. At the age of eight, George weighs 93 kilograms, and his height is 150 centimetres. Georgy's parents and relatives have encouraged him to use his size and strength to become famous. Georgy easily completed 43 metres enough for the record and made his father happy. "I am very glad my child broke the world Guinness record. I am very glad,'' said George's father, also George Bibilauri. "Today is the St. George's day (St. George is considered to be a patron saint of Orthodox Christian Georgia) and my son George has broken the record today." As Guinness commission members looked for volunteers in the crowd to add about 500 kilos to the van's weight, Georgey junior warmed up under his father's guidance. As he was ready to begin, the van already weighed about 2,100 kilograms, which was enough for the record. Doctors who have been observing Georgy's development since his early childhood say that despite his size the eight-year-old boy is healthy.
