Gazans turn to tunnels for supplies

The blockade has been in effect since November 4, when Israeli troops raided the area to destroy what they say were tunnels built by militants planning to abduct Israeli soldiers. Hamas and other Palestinian groups responded by firing rockets into southern Israel. The blockade of food and basic supplies is now being felt by the residents of the Hamas-run Gaza strip.
