Gareth's a dad

Gareth Gates has become a father for the first time after welcoming the birth of a baby girl. The singer's wife Suzanne gave birth to the 7lb 8oz baby named Missy on Monday morning. The 24-year-old said: "We are so excited, Missy is beautiful and we can't wait to spend time together as a family." The singer is currently starring in the title role in the West End production of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The former Pop Idol contestant took over the role from fellow TV competition winner Lee Mead in February.
