Steve Forbes is the owner of the Forbes publishing empire and editor-in-chief of Forbes magazine. He was a Republican candidate in the US presidential primaries in 1996 and 2000. He is an economic adviser to John McCain. He talks to Sir David about John McCain's campaign and the economic crisis. Pat Buchanan was a senior adviser to American presidents Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, and Ronald Reagan. He sought the Republican presidential nomination in 1992 and 1996 and ran on the Reform Party ticket in the 2000 presidential election. He talks to Sir David about what could happen to the Republican Party if John McCain loses the election.
