Fr. Mahoney's homily: Profoundly grateful for firefighters
(NECN) - Father Dan Mahoney delivered the homily for the funeral service held for fallen firefighter Lieutenant Kevin Kelley, 52, who died when Ladder 26 crashed into a building last Friday. Fr. Mahoney is the Boston Fire Department Chaplain, and thanked those from around the nation that traveled to pay their respects to Lt. Kelley. He also thanked those Boston Police officers and emergency responders who were at the scene of the accident. After opening with many thanks to those in attendance, Fr. Mahoney directly addressed the loss of Lt. Kelley. read more
