Fort Hood shooting victims remembered at funerals across the country

(NECN) - Across the country, people stood before several flag-draped coffins as funerals were held for six of the 13 victims of last week's shootings at Fort Hood. In Utah, Gov. Gary Herbert and Sen. Orin Hatch crowded into a Mormon temple to join the family and friends of 19-year-old Pfc. Aaron Nemelka. It was a similar scene in cities and towns across the country as people came out to remember those who were lost. The Patriot Guard motorcyclists were present at many of the funerals today, escorting the troops to their final resting place.
