FOOTBALL: Jermain Defoe bites Javier Mascherano during match

Tottenham Hotspur footballer Jermain Defoe admits pictures of him biting West Ham's Javier Mascherano look bad - but claims the incident has been blown out of all proportion. Defoe - who's a former Hammers' player - reacted to a tackle during his side's one-nil win yesterday. He was booked, but Sports Minister Richard Caborn now wants the Football Association to examine the video for possible further punishment.
