Footage of 'tear gas' in Thailand

Some 30 people have been injured after police repelled a 2,000-strong crowd on the fourth day of protests in Thailand.TV footage appeared to show tear gas canisters exploding among the protesters, who had attacked a Bangkok police headquarters, but police denied using them, saying they had only fired rubber bullets. The protests are being led by a conservative group called the People's Alliance for Democracy. It claims Thai Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej is a puppet of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who was ousted by a military coup in 2006 and is now in exile to avoid facing trial over corruption charges.
