Flooded roads cause backups in Worcester

(NECN: Kenneth Craig, Worcester, Mass.) - During a week when traffic is typically light due to the July Fourth holiday, flooded roads were causing backups in Worcester today. Heavy rains in Worcester caused major traffic backups, and flooding became a big worry around the city on Thursday. Roads were drying up by Thursday afternoon in parts of the city, but select streets remained closed. The hills and valley of Worcester make it a perfect place for flash flooding. read more
