Britney Spears, 25, formally divorced her second husband of nearly three years, Kevin Federline, 29 on Monday, July 30, 2007. Celebrity website TMZ.com offered proof by showing what appeared to be signed papers filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court. Spears married a childhood friend, Jason Allen Alexander in a Las Vegas chapel on January 3, 2004 which last for fifty-five hours resulting in an annulment on the grounds that Spears "lacked understanding of her actions." Later that year, Spears married one of her back-up dancers, Kevin Federline in October 2004. The couple have two children: sons Sean Preston and Jayden James Federline and according to TMZ.com, Laura Wasser, who represents Britney Spears, filed a motion to keep the custody and child support provisions secret on the grounds it would be harmful to the children. A court hearing on the motion is scheduled to happen on August 14, 2007.
