Felipe Coimbra : From i-stats to the Montreal NewTech Meetup

Felipe Coimbra is fast, very fast. He develops Web projects one after the other. He was the brain and the fingers behind i-stats.com and last year he launched YOWtrip.com , an online social networking platform for travellers. This summer he decided to move to Montreal but he was still packing his stuff in Boulder, Colorado, when he created the Montreal NewTech Meetup , yet another social event targeting the tech entrepreneur community. At that time very few Montrealers had heard of this young serial entrepreneur born in Brazil and educated in the US. I met him with Heri Rakotomalala , editor of Montreal Tech Watch , one of the active leaders of the local tech scene, in front of the St.Lawrence River on September 4th.
