
The fastest three course meal was eaten by Peter Dowdeswell of Northampton, UK, in 45 seconds on the UK Guinness World Records TV show on May 13, 1999. The meal consisted of 500 ml (1 pint) of strained oxtail soup, 454g (1 lb) of mashed potatoes, 227g ( Ѕ lb) of tinned baked beans and sausages, and 50 prunes.
