Farm Animals Are Smarter Then You Think?
This is an excerpt taken from the video documentary entitled 'Farm Animals & Us' which was produced by the Compassion in World Farming organization (CIWF). For many people, all the humble pig chicken and many other farm animals are good for; is just breakfast lunch and dinner. But as with everything in life; misconceptions come about through a lack of knowledge and understanding, and because we hold other animals such as cats and dogs in much higher regard. The abuse committed against the humble gentle farm animals often goes without sympathy from people or much understanding. Experts believe pigs are smarter then dogs and chickens are intelligent animals as well being good problem solvers with great communication skills. So are the farm animals dumb ugly and stupid? Nope, far from it; so next time you hit the grocery store, try to make compassionate humane food choices that gives these great misunderstood animals, the right of their natural behaviours and instincts. Or by even better, becoming a vegetarian or vegan and ensuring none of these unnecessary abuses are committed against them ever again.
