After nearly 50 years of roaming the London streets, the double-decker open-backed red bus known as the Routemaster stopped it's service in December 2005. To commemorate the passing of this London legend, filmmakers were challenged to go out onto the streets and make a film about the iconic British bus that has now ended its commuter service forever. The 'Farewell Routemaster Film Challenge' celebrates London's cultural heritage through the spirit of independent filmmaking captures many special moments from the last week of the Routemaster service.
