Evgeni Malkin Jokes about Pens Teammate Maxime Talbot

In their one day off from the Stanley Cup Finals this week, Pittsburgh players Evgeni Malkin, Maxime Talbot, and Bill Guerin take questions after their Wednesday practice. Malkin, nicknamed Geno, teases Talbot for scoring on an empty net at the end of Tuesday's win over Detroit, saying, “I see how Max plays, lots of emotion, never stop skating. Yeah, and a little bit bad hands. He has lots of scoring chance, not score. Just empty net. It’s O.K., he learns over the summer.” Talbot takes this well just saying "Thanks Geno" and Guerin remarks that while reporters oftentimes think of Malkin as shy and quiet, their other Russian teammates disagree: "From what Gonch [Sergei Gonchar] and Fedotenko [Ruslan Fedotenko] tell me, yes, he’s extremely funny. And it’s kind of obvious when he’s going to carve somebody because he goes right from English right into Russian, so you can’t understand it. People think he’s kind of a quiet guy, but he’s got a great sense of humor."
