EU leaders agree way forward for global economy

29 January 2008.EU leaders have agreed on how to tackle current issues in the global economy following the recent "credit crunch". Gordon Brown outlined the plans at a press conference this evening, alongside French President Nicolas Sarkozy, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Italy's premier Romano Prodi and EU Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso.
