ENVIRONMENT: Litter: Deadline given to free London newspapers for cleaning up discarded copies

The owners of London's freesheets have been given a month to find their own way of dealing with the copies thrown away on the streets, or face a ban in parts of the capital. The deadline is from Westminster Council, which spends more than a hundred thousand pounds a year sweeping up the discarded newspapers.
