The Brenodi First Army barely survived a mutiny on Isle after a mis-communication from High Command left them severly outgunned. Another a forward division was supposed to have weakened the Factionist forces by sinking their transports as they made their way to the island. After another crushing defeat, the Queen ordered all soldiers to fall back and defend the capital. After weeks of seige, Factionist forces are now on the doorstep of Bren. Twenty three years ago to this day, before Jekotia fell, they launched a major sea operation against Bren. Nuclear missiles rained towards us, and with out missile defence network destroyed by their land forces, we had no choice but to intercept the missiles with our MAC's. They nearly destroyed everything, but we pushed them back. But, in our glory hour, they did the unthinkable. Three-hundred-thousand tonnes of satellite was ejected from high orbit, where it accelered to over the speed of sound during its descent. This satellite, ironically nicknamed HOPERISING, left the cratered plateau known as Monument Valley in its wake. To this day, the satellite stands entoumbed in the center of the valley, encased in rock from the dam construction project, as a monument to the millions that died to protect our Empire. The nerve that the Factionists would desecrate this monument and burial site, so soon after causing all this damage. Destroy them. Leave no one standing. Failure is unacceptable at this point, and I, your queen, will personally execute every survivor if you fail me again.
