President Mahmoud Abbas has announced presidential and legislative elections will be held by 24 January in the Palestinian territories, including in the Gaza Strip.In Gaza, Hamas and Fatah have been trying to negotiate an agreement that would pave the way for these elections.Katya Adler reports.
