EDUCATION / POLITICS: Conservative Party grammar school row: Graham Brady resigns

David Cameron thought the grammar school row in his party was closed. But it has reopened after Conservative MP Graham Brady resigned from his party's front bench team, saying the argument put forward by his leader that grammar schools stymied social mobility was "incorrect and dangerous." Mr Cameron has said he respected Mr Brady's decision but insisted it had never been Tory policy to undermine existing grammar schools.
