Earthquake hits southwest China

The 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck on Thursday night in Yingjiang county in southwest China, bringing down houses and cutting electricity supplies across the region. At least 120,000 people have been forced to evacuate their homes as concerns are raised about possible aftershocks.
