Dutch pride

Why passively playing computergames, if you can build and program your own robot to design your own computergame? Technique is fun and absolutely not resticted to nerds. There is so much more to be done. Ok constructing is nice, but you should also be able to make a presentation, to research and sell your ideas. You must work together on a group, be creative, you should show perseverance to be able to cope with disappointments. The RISbotics team has done it all, and are the best Dutch team in the First Lego League. FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is an exciting and fun international robotics program that ignites an enthusiasm for discovery, science, and technology in kids ages 9 to 14. Research and solve a real-world problem based on the Challenge theme. Present their research and solutions. Build an autonomous robot using engineering concepts. In 2007 the FLL was held in 40 countries over the whole world, there is being worked on another 11 countries to come along. In total there were 435 preliminary rounds, 75 finals and 2 international finals, 9.250 teams and 85.000 + kids participating. The films shown are from the kids of the international school of Eindhoven, the Netherlands
