Dozens Killed and Wounded in Iraqi Bombings
A car bomb exploded in the the northern city of Mosul, on Thursday, killing at least 18 people in an incident that capped off a day of violence across Iraq. It appeared the target was the provincial governor, who was near the blast but escaped injury.
