Dog Chapman Arrested Exclusive Video 5

Following the apprehension of Duane "Dog" Chapman, star of A&E's hit series Dog The Bounty Hunter, his son Leland Chapman, and business partner Tim Chapman, A&E presents the one-hour special, DOG: THE FAMILY SPEAKS, premiering Tuesday, September 19th at 10:00 PM ET/PT. The program, which features an exclusive post-release interview with Dog and his wife Beth Chapman, offers fans a firsthand account of the dramatic events that began with Dog's capture by U.S. Marshals early Thursday morning. The special also chronicles the astonishing events beginning with the hunt for convicted rapist Andrew Luster more than three years ago, to the emotional reunion following Dog's release from federal detention on Friday. The special offers loyal fans an opportunity to hear the story directly from Dog, his wife Beth and their family -- as well as an opportunity for the family to express their thoughts and emotions in their own words during this extremely difficult time in their lives. Dog, Leland and Tim Chapman were taken into custody by U.S. Marshals early Thursday morning in connection with charges stemming from their 2003 capture of serial rapist, Andrew Luster. Andrew Luster, the famed heir to the Max Factor cosmetics fortune, was convicted of drugging and raping three women over a four year span. During his trial in 2003, Luster fled the country, leading to an international manhunt. In June 2003, Dog and his team tracked the fugitive Luster in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where he was living under an alias, and seized him. As bounty hunting is illegal in Mexico, Dog, Tim and Leland were arrested by the Mexican authorities and released on bail. Charges are still pending against them in Mexico. Luster was handed over to the United States government by Mexican officials. He was subsequently found guilty and is currently serving a 124 year prison sentence. Dog, Leland and Tim were released on bail on Friday night and are currently awaiting their extradition hearing to face trial in Mexico.
