Digital Britain: What it means
Every Briton with a fixed-line phone will pay a "small levy" of 50p per month to pay for faster net access.The proposal is part of the Digital Britain report outlined by Culture Secretary Ben Bradshaw in Parliament.The government has also announced plans to give some of the BBC licence fee to other broadcasters.Rory Cellan-Jones and Nick Higham look at the impact of the Digital Britain report on broadband and television.
